I was invited by the wildly imaginative travelling circus that is the House of Fairytales to tell stories in their marquee of makers at east London’s Winterville. A cold and clear day and I arrived to find that I had a painted wagon gipsy style at my disposal. I entertained scores of 3-14 year olds coming in in groups for 20-minute sessions. Cosy, vibey and an enclosed space away from the rabble. A great immersion.
