Book group came out of the group which had been reading Love in the Time of Cholera which ended round then – having begun as a Lockdown #1 group coming out of the Dante Divine Comedy  -offshoot of the Milton Paradise Lost group with Nicholas Mellor, SS, Edward, Andrew, John Wilkins, Ralf, DP and Digger, so it’s an evolved organism.

It also shed a skin when Short Story Gang rose from the ashes of Salonistas – which was kind of named after Sophie’s Salons which ran from about 2002 onwards on and off until…2005…

In Real Life meets included A walk in Amersham – semi-legal rule breaking Winter 2021, Picnic in the Bandstand, visits to PK theatre shows, Salisbury, private views of various descriptions, poetry  readings, film nights at the BFI, back at Sophie’s, Highgate pubs, Lucy’s house, Daisy’s house
